This morning, via [Zak](http://zak.greant.com), I heard about [MySQL ComCon](http://web.archive.org/web/20040831031746/http://www.mysqlcomconeurope.com/), which occurs concurrently with [International PHP Conference](http://web.archive.org/web/20040807050835/http://www.phpconference.de/2004/index_en.php) in Frankfurt, Germany. Both conferences are hosted by the good folks at [Software & Support Verlag](http://www.software-support.biz/).

Zak's special recipe for the conference is:

> Recipe for MySQL ComCon Europe 2004: Take equal parts kick-ass MySQL community event and MySQL mission-critical business event. Add key MySQL community members and developers. Drop in three days in November (8th to 10th). Shake well. Serve ice cold at [http://mysqlcomconeurope.com/](http://web.archive.org/web/20040831031746/http://www.mysqlcomconeurope.com/).

I think I prefer mine at room temp, however, but that's just a matter of personal preference. :-D

Unfortunately, unless I take up a collection and convince my boss to give me the week off, I'll not be able to attend, but it definitely sounds like something I'd check out.
